The Suntory Royal Decanter Year of the Monkey is part of a limited collection from the Japanese whisky distillery Suntory. It offers its customers a variety of mature malt whiskies, which were offered on the occasion of the Chinese New Year celebrations. This drop went on sale in 2015. The manufacturer is thus paying tribute to the Year of the Monkey. The whisky spent 12 years in its cask. It has an alcohol content of 43% by volume.

Despite its long aging period of more than a decade, the malty whisky has retained its delicate aroma. It smells of fresh flower petals, young oak, and grains. During tasting, even fruitier notes come through. The finish is embraced by dry but velvety facets. It is recommended to serve it neat or on the rocks.
