The taste characteristics of peaches, pears, ginger, honey, and oak cover the tongue like a swath of velvet fabric. Hints of raisins and oil emerge as well. The extensive finish is accompanied by a slight dryness. Alongside notes of grain and wood, accents of fruit and sugar persist. Without additives, the whisky tastes particularly powerful and fruity.
