Dieser Whiskey ist im wahrsten Sinne königlich: Er wurde 1939 kreiert, als das englische Königspaar Kanada besuchte. Neben Malz und Roggen bildet kristallklares Quellwasser aus Manitoba die Grundlage für den Crown Royal. Die letzte Etappe seiner Reifung verbrachte der Whiskey in gebrauchten XO-Cognacfässern.
