The distillery is located on a restored tobacco farm in southern Kentucky. For the production of whiskey, Preservation Distillery relies on slow maturation in special, hand-selected barrels that impart an exceptionally intense range of aromas. Due to the limited number of suitable barrels, only small quantities are produced, maturing without a predetermined bottling date. Exclusively employing the pot still method for distillation - a unique approach in Kentucky.
