With a history spanning over 300 years, the American distillery Michter's stands as one of the oldest whiskey distilleries in the country. The venerable production facility was founded in 1795 in Pennsylvania, originally named the Bomberger Distillery at that time. Read more

In the 1950s, numerous distilleries in the East Coast city were closed, prompting the owners to relocate to Kentucky. They have their whiskey produced in local distilleries under the new brand name Michter's. Chatham Imports is responsible for bottling. Meanwhile, two new Michter's distilleries have opened their doors, where original American whiskeys, ryes, and bourbons are distilled. In 2012, the Wine Enthusiast Magazine recognized the dedicated company as Distiller of the Year.
