During its maturation period, the Shenk's Homestead Sour Mash 2019 Whiskey was aged in old bourbon barrels. The distillers added a spirit to the distillate that matured in chinquapin oak. The result is a fantastic blend with tropical characteristics. It was bottled at 45.6% alcohol by volume.

The vintage whiskey shimmers slightly reddish. On the nose, fresh aromas of juicy grapefruits and oranges emerge. The elegant vanilla notes wonderfully complement the spicy accents of smoke and wood.
