The MacAllan Classic Cut 2018 is the second limited special bottling in MacAllan's Classic Cut series, which was first released in 2017. The oak casks in which the single malt whisky matured were personally selected by MacAllan's Master Distiller. The MacAllan Classic Cut 2018 developed its complex, sweet-dominated taste profile in former Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain.

The strong aroma and balanced taste of the Speyside whisky contain notes of citrus fruits, spicy nutmeg and ginger. There is also a sweet hint of vanilla. The finish is of medium length and leaves a dry oak note.
Bottled with an alcohol content of 51.2 % vol., the MacAllan Classic Cut 2018 is also a visual delight with its golden color.
