The Epicurean Tawny Port Cask Whisky is a limited edition blended malt whisky, with only 406 bottles available. It completed its maturation in a used wooden cask previously containing Portuguese port wine - a Tawny Port Single Cask. The whisky was bottled at 48% ABV and is free from chill filtration and artificial coloring.

The blended malt captivates with a reddish copper color. Its aroma is a symbiosis of apples, pears, vanilla, malt, and cereal notes. During tasting, the fruity notes are complemented by almonds and chocolate. The malty components are somewhat restrained. Thanks to maturation in port wine casks, flavors reminiscent of red wine are present. The medium-length finish is lightly spicy and reminiscent of nuts. Both facets are rounded off by fruity-sweet profiles. This exquisite blended malt whisky should be enjoyed neat or with a bit of ice.
