The Swiss Mountain Master Distiller 5 yo Tropenhaus Edition III Whisky is an extraordinary single malt from Switzerland. During its maturation period, it aged in the garden of the Tropenhaus Frutigen. An old port wine cask was chosen as the vessel. After its time in the cask, the unique whisky was bottled at 59.6% ABV and released as a limited special edition.

The maturation period in the tropical climate imparted particularly exquisite flavors to the distillate. They are a fabulous blend of oak, wine, candied fruit, elderflower, and stewed pears. The taste profile of the single malt whisky is characterized by caramel, freshly harvested fruits, and malt. In the finish, solid hints of spices emerge.
