Twice-matured New York whiskey made from 72% rye

The Ragtime Rye is composed of 72% rye sourced from the state of New York. The remaining components are corn (16%) and malted barley (12%).

For maturation, two different types of barrels were used. During the aging process, the whiskey rested in new barrels made of American oak.

Its finish was obtained in used wooden barrels that previously held rye whiskeys.

On the nose, profiles of rye and metal unfold. After some time, they transform into cherries and wood. With prolonged exposure to oxygen, sugar-like characteristics emerge. The diverse taste encompasses flavors of orange peel and stewed berries. Alongside rye, peppery accents are present. This whiskey serves as an excellent component for cocktails.
