The Mossburn Vintage Casks is a whisky collection that bottles exceptional whiskies in a strictly limited version to offer them to interested connoisseurs. This Mossburn whisky was produced by the North British Distillery and matured for 15 years in an American hogshead before being bottled in 2019 at 46% vol. Naturally, this whisky was bottled without colouring and without chill filtration.

The Mossburn Vintage Cask No 24 North British 15 yo Single Grain 2003 has aromas of vanilla, wood and some spice on the nose. On the palate we have light wood flavours, as well as citrus fruit and some pepper. However, light and warm sweet notes are also perceptible, which then lead into a long-lasting finish that is now clearly dominated by sweet flavours. This whisky has everything a good grain whisky needs and is a real asset in any bar. Enjoyed neat, it is an excellent companion throughout the evening.
