The aroma of Four Oak is malty, smoky, and warm, with sweet notes of fruit compote and vanilla. The taste is distinctly maritime, with hints of seaweed, various woods, and buttercream. The mouthfeel is soft and silky.
The finish of Four Oak is medium-length, with spicy and woody notes, licorice, smoke, and salt.
With an alcohol content of 40% ABV, this whisky is ideal for sipping neat. Alternatively, it can be enjoyed classic "on the rocks".
