For this single-varietal fruit brandy with 42% alcohol by volume, 11 kilograms of Lauerzer Bergkirschen were harvested. After distillation, the spirit matured for 6 to 8 years in basket bottles. During maturation, the bottles were stored in barns, exposed to changing weather conditions, which beneficially influenced the quality of the distillate.
