Andrew Heublein, a German-American entrepreneur from Connecticut, popularized the Canadian whisky liqueur in America. After Prohibition, Heublein acquired distribution rights for numerous foreign spirits, including Yukon Jack. The high-proof liqueur is still produced in Valleyfield, in the Canadian province of Quebec, with bottling taking place in the neighboring United States.
