Based in Teangue, Torabhaig is the second official whisky distillery after Talisker on the Isle of Skye and was founded in 2017.

The distillery was planned under the then owner Sir Iain Noble, but after his death it was transferred to Mossburn Distillers, a subsidiary of Marussia Beverages BV. The production volume of Torabhaig is 500,000 litres of pure alcohol, which is distilled in wooden washbacks and two copper stills. The first whiskies were launched in 2021 under the name "Legacy Series".
