In the 19th century, Alexander Gordon, James Findlater, and Donald Mackintosh opened their own business, which still operates in the town of Dufftown. Hence, its original name was 'Dufftown Distillery.' Since 2014, Mortlach Distillery has been part of the Diageo conglomerate. In this renowned establishment, flavorful malt whiskies are crafted.
