    The successes did not take long to materialize. However, around the turn of the century, the whisky industry faced significant losses. Knockando ceased production for four years. From 1952 onwards, under the leadership of Justerini & Brooks, whisky production resumed. The Cardnach Spring is the water source for the distillery. Today, the distillery is part of the Diageo group, with the majority of its production going into the blending industry.
