The Quint family has been cultivating the tradition of distillation for generations. In 2005, the time came for the family to share their regional bourbon whiskey with the world. Thus, Jeff Quint founded the Cedar Ridge Distillery in Swisher, Iowa. Quint became a pioneer as Cedar Ridge is the first licensed distillery in Iowa since the Prohibition era.
