Since 2014, Athrú has made a name for itself in the industry with outstanding whiskeys. The Lough Gill Distillery, where Athrú produces its spirits, is located in the northwest coastal region of Sligo.

"Athrú" means "change" or "transformation." The whiskeys from the creative distillery - all limited edition single malts - are exceptionally versatile and diverse, just like the meaning of their name. The pure spring water, malted barley, and the maturation of the casks right next to the production site in the fresh Atlantic air contribute to the unique aroma of these rarities. The owners are committed to staying current, utilizing three handcrafted copper stills, distilling more than a million liters of alcohol per year.
