The Revel Avila Reposada is crafted from Blue Agave. For fermentation, both roasted and steamed agaves over volcanic rock are used. This tequila undergoes triple distillation. It spent 12 months aging in American White Oak barrels. The tequila has an alcohol content of 40% ABV.

The aging in oak barrels is clearly reflected in the aroma and taste of the Revel Avila Reposada. It is smoky yet also exhibits a pleasant toffee sweetness. The enjoyment culminates in a fresh agave finish. When tasted neat, the individual flavor nuances are particularly pronounced. However, it also tastes great on the rocks or in a fruity cocktail.
