As expected from a ready-to-drink Mint Julep, this liqueur carries the classic Old Forester Bourbon aroma, a hint of vanilla, and refreshing mint. On the palate, fruity notes of peach and apricot emerge.
The finish is medium-length, smooth, and mild.
As a pre-mixed cocktail, the Old Forester Mint Julep can be enjoyed neat. For an authentic experience, pouring it over crushed ice is recommended. To further enhance the drink, adding a sprig of mint and a dash of lime juice into the glass is suggested.
