This relatively new whisky creation hails from the small town of Kurayoshi in southern Japan. Distilled from carefully selected ingredients and the soft water of the region, Matsui crafts a pure malt whisky that impresses with a balanced aroma and a smooth, creamy, and long-lasting finish.
Distinctively sweet fruit flavors intertwine with subtle sour notes reminiscent of lemongrass. Kurayoshi Sherry Cask matures in oak barrels and culminates its aging process in a Sherry cask for a crowning touch.
