The JOHNETT Single Cask No 49 is made from entirely local resources. From barley malt to spring water from the Hell Grottos in Baar, this whisky is a regional product from the Zug region. This JOHNETT was allowed to mature in a Merlot cask from Tuscany before being bottled unfiltered at cask strength after 10 years. This bottling is limited to 417 bottles, making it interesting for both the connoisseur and the collector.

This amber-colored whisky comes with character to the nose. A powerful whisky with subtle roasted aromas and a light sweetness from caramel. The JOHNETT Single Cask No 49 also convinces on the palate, being complex with a pleasantly soft sweetness. Overall, this whisky appears very harmonious and has a long-lasting and warming finish.
