The amber-colored whisky entices the nose with a ripe fruit aroma of apricots, blueberries, bananas, and pears, along with subtle toasted notes. Hints of walnut and pastry also emerge.
On the palate, the JOHNETT 2010 Aged 7 years exhibits a very pleasant and malty sweetness. The flavor profile is perfectly rounded out with some spice notes of dried oregano and mint, a hint of toffee, creamy biscuit roll, and milk chocolate with raisins.
The toasted notes linger warmly on the finish, and the charming sweetness of the fruits and malt lingers on the palate for a long time.
