For each bottle of the intensely flavored Etter Williams unfiltriert 2018, 9 kilograms of fully ripe Williams pears were processed. They matured on the right bank of the Rhone, where a particularly mild climate prevails. During production, the producers opted not to filter the distillate in order to obtain a natural fruit brandy. After a 15-month maturation period in basket bottles, the bottling with 44% alcohol by volume was released to the market.
