The band's motivation was to further connect with their fans through a unique, carefully crafted whiskey. In choosing to collaborate, the band intentionally selected Dave Pickerell, an internationally renowned Master Distiller known for distinctive finishes – a characteristic also found in the Blackened by Metallica Whiskey. The first band-owned whiskey was released in the American market in 2018.
