Ha sede a Bardstown, Kentucky ed è anche produttore di altri whisky bourbon come Johnny Drum Bourbon o Old Barstown. Il nome Willett è stato a lungo associato al whisky nel Kentucky. La prima distilleria a portare il nome Willett fu aperta nel 1936, poco dopo la fine del proibizionismo. Nel 2012, 32 anni dopo la chiusura della vecchia distilleria Willett, le famiglie Willett e Kulsveen hanno rifondato la Willett Distilling Company.
