The Bruichladdich Octomore 12.2 Whisky from the Isle of Islay is part of a small series. Its base consists of 100% regional Concerto barley. It is unfettered by cold filtration or the use of artificial coloring. After distillation in 2015, the producers filled the Scotch into American bourbon barrels. During the final stage of its maturation, it rested in French Sauternes casks. Since the year 2021, this Scottish single malt has been available on the market.

On the nose, gentle notes of almonds, peat, tropical fruits, lemons, honey, peaches, and oak wood resonate. During the tasting, whisky enthusiasts can anticipate the flavors of orange blossoms, vanilla pods, sugar syrup, caramel, peat, and citrus fruits. The finish is distinguished by the freshness of lemons, with smoky accents rounding it off in the end.
The Bruichladdich Octomore 12.2 was bottled at 57.3% ABV. It is recommended to be served diluted with water.
