Weinlaubenhof Kracher Winery, Burgenland, Austria

11.0 %vol. / 0.375 lt

The Weinlaubenhof Kracher TBA No. 6 Nouvelle Vague Grande Cuvée is a full-bodied dessert wine from the Austrian Burgenland region. This fine Trockenbeerenauslese is composed of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Welschriesling grapes. Both grape varieties contribute to the selected drop with particularly characterful qualities. Until its release in 2017, the cuvée matured in barrique barrels. Subsequently, it was released with 8% alcohol by volume as part of a limited series.

Layered, refreshing, and bursting with flavor - these words aptly describe the virtues of this pale yellow dessert wine. In the wine glass, the multifaceted cuvée unfolds summery accents of berry fruits, honey, pineapple, and melon. Upon tasting, gentle yet fresh notes of lemon, apple, and stone fruits dominate. These are followed by a comprehensive finish with subtle mineral undertones. The Weinlaubenhof Kracher Beerenauslese Cuvée can best reveal its flavor when served at a temperature between 8 to 14 degrees Celsius. A Chardonnay glass is suitable for serving.
