The moniker 'Cascade' derives from the nearby water sources, the Cascade Springs. George Dickel became a significant stakeholder in Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. shortly after its inception. In the late 19th century, the local spirits merchant acquired substantial shares in the newly established distillery, initially operating it under his name. The Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. is currently under the management of Master Blender Nicole Austin.
